Microsoft offers a $15.00 app that will make all of your regular\u00a0DVDs play but not Blu-rays. You\u2019ll have to purchase third party software if you want to watch Blu-rays.<\/p>\n<p>One of my customers has an extensive collection of\u00a0Blu-rays and when she upgraded to Windows 10, she was upset that Microsoft hadn\u2019t made it clear that if she upgraded to 10 she wouldn\u2019t be able to play those anymore.<\/p>\n<p>I found a couple of programs that promise to play Blu-rays on Windows 10. The one that worked for my customer is called aiseesoftblu-ray player. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aiseesoft.com\/\">www.aiseesoft.com<\/a> I downloaded the trial version first to make sure it would work and it finally\u00a0did. However, before it would play\u00a0Blu-rays I had to update the firmware on her computer\u2019s\u00a0Blu-ray player. The program costs $45.00 for a life time key.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019d think if your computer was not going to function, at least as well as it did before you upgraded, Microsoft would have let people know.
