Pureleads And Sendori Malware

computer · July 16, 2014 ·

I had to diagnose and fix a computer that had no Internet access.  Diagnostics showed that the PC was online but whenever I attempted to open the browser, it always showed “this page can’t be displayed.”  I looked in the add/remove program list to see if anything new had been installed and found a program called “Pureleads.”  After uninstalling this program the browser started working just fine.  I Googled “Pureleads” and found out it’s made by “Sendori.”  Both of these programs are nothing more than malware but are labeled as programs that protect your browser from spam and phishing attacks.  This software sometimes gets into your computer when you download or update a program from the Internet.Pureleads 7-16-14
